Anyone else severely pissed that Flash Gordon was cancelled?

Hey- back half of the season started. Anyone still watching? It has been getting markedly better- really it has. Anyone writing fic? Know where I might find fic?

The rightful ruler of Mongo has been cast. Prince Barin will be played by Steve Bacic - previously seen as Camulus in Stargate SG-1 Season 8. The sad news is we won't be seeing Barin until episode nine "Til Death", but he will become a recurring character after that. Apparently, Sam J. Jones will also be making a cameo appearance in the episode.

How are people finding the series so far? I've seen a lot of negative comments out on the internet from people who were either expecting the serials/movie, but there do seem to be a few who like it. Anyone want to chime in with comments, thoughts, anything?
